Mr. Parfenix Melting Words

Mr. Parfenix’s reading style is more of a “melting words” kinda deal.  He basically duck hunts every letter, killing off passages, and ruining books so that no one else can enjoy them.  All these passages have been sucked into the ecosphere that is his mind, swirling about like a violent, unpredictable letterstorm.  When he wakes up in the morning there are always little letters all over his pillow, letters lucky to have escaped through Mr. P’s earholes.  Mr. P usually collects these letters into a little dixie cup and sprinkles them on his morning toast.  Once these letters have endured the weather of the Parfenix Mind Volcano, they taste similar to BACON BITS.

And don’t believe that he’s reading a Roberto Bolaño book if you catch him out in the park, eye-beaming one of Bolaño’s earlier, less in-vogue texts.  If you smack the book out of his claws fast enough, you’ll see he’s reading another issue of Super Duck, The Cock-Eyed Wonder by Al Fagaly.
